Just coming to share some recent good news before I am headed off to school!! Recently life has been a bit busier, somehow it always seems that I am in eternal wonder of how fast time flies. I’m leaving for school in just a few days and my final mission for the summer has been completed!
I’ve been sitting on this mini dream since last summer, and I am happy to announce that I have completed my very first century ride! I am super proud of my effort and seeing how far I’ve come since my first group ride (which I wrote about in my “daring to try” post just over a month ago!).
It was a well equipped course, definitely couldn’t have made it through without the water and food refills on this hot summer day. The ride was in support of the American Diabetes Association and the energy on the course was great.
I finished with a time of 6:07 and had a blast all 100 miles. See the video below for more:)
